Infonet is in the process of developing the following In-House Projects.
1. Learning Management System
2. RealtorAdminPlace

LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Project Description

Learning management system is a product designed to manage user interventions.
LMS can cater to different educational, administrative, and deployment requirements. The system uses robust database at the back-end to deliver the specific needs of the client. The database driven system with front-end interface is designed to meet unique needs of corporate training and educational institutaions. The different modules and functionality that will be incorporated in the system are:

  • Manage users, roles, courses, instructors, and facilities and generate reports
  • Course calendar
  • Learner messaging and notifications
  • Assessment/testing capable of handling student pre/post testing
  • Display scores and transcripts
  • Grading of coursework and roster processing, including waitlisting
  • Web-based or blended course delivery
  • Autoenrollment (enrolling learners in courses when required according to predefined criteria, such as job title or work location)
  • Manager enrollment and approval
  • Boolean definitions for prerequisites or equivalencies
  • Integration with performance tracking and management systems
  • Planning tools to identify skill gaps at departmental and individual level
  • Curriculum, required and elective training requirements at an individual and organizational level
  • Grouping learners according to demographic units by feeding longitude and latitude information using cad based design software for geographic region, product line, business size, etc.
  • Assign corporate and partner employees to more than one job title at more than one demographic unit

Users Tasks
The following is the list of tasks that instructors can perform using the system
  • Get necessary resources to set up a course web site
  • Post syllabus/course information
  • Post assignments
  • Post assignment solutions
  • Post resources/additional readings
  • Post announcements
  • Post quizzes
  • Manage project groups/sections electronically
  • Manage class roster
  • Manage section roster, such as who are in each lab or discussion sections of a course
  • Get documents from students electronically
  • Post grades
  • Answer questions from the students electronically
  • Send messages to students electronically
  • Conduct surveys electronically
Timeline
Learning Management System is anticipated to be fully operational by October 2010.

The parallel releases of the system may acquire significant change to the current implementation. To minimize number of technical or architecture variances, application development team would conduct internal training and provide complete documentation for the teams responsible for supporting the system in the future.

Where will the Deliverables be Produced
The core of the project team will reside and work at Infonet Technologies Offices in the Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Current Status
Project is in the design phase; modules and specifications are being finalized.

REALTORADMINPLACE

Project Description

Infonet identified “effective listings”, ‘Agents, Brokers and Owners information processing’ as the key areas for Real Estate Business growth.

The primary goal of this project is to provide Real Estate Agents and Listings (RAL) with a system that increases the efficiency of the transaction processing and listing process and decreases costs associated with those processes.

Business growth, investors and agents’ turnover have played a part in increasing the number of real estate listing in the past. Over the years, RAL have adjusted the goals, and processes and procedures as necessary to meet the requirements. These adjustments have allowed RAL to evolve as the business and external agents have evolved. However, the legacy computer system has not evolved or grown. The result is a computer system that is outdated and ill-suited for the needs of REALTORS®.

With the implementation of RealtorAdminPlace, RAL will have a system that increased the efficiency of the listing processing and transaction process while decreasing the cost associated to each. The RealtorAdminPlace system will also ensure the compliance of all Listings and Transactions regulations.

This will be accomplished by eliminating unnecessary processes and procedures and redundancies within the existing system, enabling a process workflow, automating the reporting needs of RAL and ensuring compliance by capturing the instance, process and outcome for each transaction.

  • Reduces the number of agent assignment errors.
The Objectives
  • Ensures transaction auditing by capturing the instance, process and outcome for each listing.
  • Enable process workflow.
  • Automate reporting
  • Accept code data transfers
  • Reduce costs by eliminating unnecessary procedures and processes, and redundancies.
Timeline
RealtorAminPlace is anticipated to be fully operational by September 2010.
